Anthrax — Nigeria
Anthrax, caused by the soil-borne bacterium _Bacillus anthracis_, is a disease with important public health and national security implications globally. Understanding the global genetic diversity of the pathogen is important for epidemiological and forensic investigations of anthrax events.
