1154 laboratory-confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection including
492 deaths
592 recoveries, and
70 currently active cases including 8 on home isolation
In the past 24 hours there have been:
7 newly confirmed cases
5 newly reported fatalities, and
0 newly reported recoveries
[Reported case fatality rate presently at: 42.6 percent]

BIO: Richard T. Cartwright PE, CHMM, CPIM* is the Senior Vice President responsible for remediation technology marketing at MECx, LP.He has an MBA in Operations and Logistics Management from Indiana University, a BES in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, and recently completed a Professional Certificate Program in Project Management at the University of Buffalo.
