E. coli — Cuba
During the weekend of (29-30 Aug 2015), 11 cases of cholera were detected in the Granma Province town of Niquero. Those affected were admitted to the Calana Gerardo Hospital, where they are receiving care.
Sources belonging to the municipal health sector, who have not wanted to give their names for fear of reprisals, confirmed the cases and that they have been reported to the Provincial Health Directorate. They also revealed that they have received orientation to stay alert to the emergence
