A 47-year-old male Zhu Shaobin (pseudonym) of Miluo, Yueyang [Hunan province] had fever with torso pain. Thinking it was flu he bounced among hospitals until finally being diagnosed with infectious hemorrhagic fever. He never imagined that the culprit was rats that stalked nearby.
