More than 20 medical employees of the civic-run Nair hospital near Mumbai Central station have contracted jaundice arising out of a hepatitis E [HEV] infection in the last month. A class IV employee succumbed to the infection in February 2016, but hospital officials said that he lived in Badlapur and may have contracted the virus there.
