Peste des petits ruminants — Tunisia
The results of analyses carried out in small ruminants (sheep and goats) in the governorate of Médenine are positive for PPR [peste des petits ruminants] and negative for foot-and-mouth disease, said the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, in a statement issued on Tuesday [15 Nov 2016], following the detection of 160 cases and the death of 35 others in the Souihel-dhouiher area of Zarzis district.
