According to officials with the Nassau County Department of Health [New York State], at least 2 people who attend LA Fitness in Garden City Park have come down with legionnaire’s disease.
The fitness facility’s pool has been drained and has been closed since [30 Dec 2016] after the Nassau County Department of Health found the bacterium that causes legionnaire’s disease.
