Anthrax — Bangladesh
At least 25 people have been infected with Anthrax in Faridpur upazila of the district in the last 3 days. Of them, 1 died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on [Fri 2 Jun 2017]. Doctors, however, could not confirm whether it was caused by Anthrax or other disease. The deceased a [12 year-old boy from] Jantihar village. He took part in the slaughtering of a diseased cow in the village last week, said family members.
