Currently, there are 13 cases of salmonellosis in 4 provinces: Ontario (7), Quebec (2), New Brunswick (2), and Nova Scotia (2). 4 people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported. Individuals became sick between June 2017 and August 2017. The average age of cases is 38 years (range 0-82 years), with approximately equal distribution among males and females.
