The Ministry of Health (MINSA) in Los Santos province confirmed a hantavirus death this [Thu 7 Dec 2017] afternoon of a 47-year-old patient from El Sesteadero, Las Tablas.
Carlos Muñoz, MINSA Director of Epidemiology in Los Santos stated that the patient began with symptoms starting on [Fri 1 Dec 2017] with fever, headache, dry cough and, finally, respiratory difficulty.
