South Korea said on [Fri 14 Feb 2020] that 19 more wild boars have been found infected with the deadly African swine fever (ASF) virus in areas near the border with North Korea, bringing the total number of cases to 204.
Eighteen animals were found dead in border areas, including in the eastern county of Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, as well as the border city of Paju and Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province, north of Seoul, according to a research institute affiliated with the environment
