Anthrax — India
Five suspected cases of cutaneous anthrax were reported from Hukumpeta in Visakhatanam district [Andhra Pradesh] on [Sat 26 Sep 2015]. District medical and health officer J Sarojini received information about the cases. “The details we have got indicate that the disease might be cutaneous, which is treatable,” she said, adding that the patients would be admitted to the King George Hospital on [Mon 29 Sep 2015].
