A dead cow on a British farm was infected with mad cow disease, officials have revealed. Experts are urgently working to investigate the circumstances of the case, which is the 1st in Wales since 2013. It was discovered as a result of control measures, which see all animals over 4 years old that die on farms tested for the disease. The animal did not enter the food chain and there is no risk to human health, the Food Standards Agency and Public Health Wales said.
