Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever — Pakistan
On Saturday [12 Sep 2015], 2 persons were diagnosed with the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) virus in Peshawar.
The patients were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex. A 12-year-old patient hails from Peshawar while the other a resident of Kohat.
Both patients are being kept in isolation rooms, a spokesperson of the hospital said.
The 12-year-old is reported to be out of danger while the other patient is still in critical condition.
