On Mon 8 Feb 2016, state officials said 4 of 6 California children in a confirmed _E. coli_ outbreak cluster drank unpasteurized raw milk from Organic Pastures Dairy Co. before becoming ill in January 2016. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) reported lab tests show all 6 children had the same unique strain of Shiga-toxin producing _E. coli_ O157.
