A highly fatal disease of deer has been detected in Ontario. 2 white-tailed deer from London, Ontario were submitted to the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (Ontario-Nunavut Region) in early September [2017]. At [necropsy], both deer had systemic bleeding consistent with epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD).
