The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Allegan County Health Department confirmed in a press release the 1st case of [swine variant of influenza A/H3N2] in 2017. The agencies reported that a child who visited the Allegan County Fair last month [September 2017] tested positive for the H3N2 variant influenza.
