MERS — Oman
A new case of the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) — also known as [MERS-coronavirus] — has been found in a 67 year old Omani national, the Ministry of Health said.
The patient was suffering from an acute respiratory infection and has been cured after treatment in a local [Muscat] government hospital, the ministry stated on Tuesday [29 Nov 2016].
