The Zamfara State government has indefinitely closed down the Government Unity Secondary School, Gummi, following sudden outbreak of a mysterious killer disease in the school last weekend [12-13 Mar 2016]. Leadership [Newspaper] sources from Gummi town revealed that the disease which was suspected to have been caused from food poisoning, has within few hours of the outbreak, killed 4 students while about 17 were badly infected.
