Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease — Philippines
Bacolod City [capital of Negros Occidental province] in the past few weeks has reported an increasing number of hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) cases in both children and adults.
Earlier this year [2015], the Department of Health reported that there was a 175.7 percent increase of HFMD cases compared to last year [2014].
