Measles — Canada
In June [2018], a 26-year-old patient died of the disease. And last February [2018], a 32-year-old mother who was not vaccinated died at CHU [Centres Hospitaliers Régionaux et Universitaires] Poitiers.
The MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccine is now mandatory for children born after 1 Jan 2018. The 2nd dose that is administered later guarantees immunity.
