This is another case in which an individual developed invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) due to serogroup C after having been recently vaccinated against _N. meningitis_ type C with a meningococcal serogroup C conjugate (MCC) vaccine in the campaign in the Tuscany Region to curb the IMD outbreak.
