Whooping Cough — Australia
There have already been more than 150 cases of whooping cough reported in Sydney in 2016, and the bulk of these have come from suburbs in the inner west.
The Director of Public Health from Sydney Local Health District, Dr Leena Gupta, said that so far in 2016, the local government areas with the highest number of incidences have been Canterbury (35), Marrickville (26), Ashfield (23) and Leichhardt (22).
