PRO/AH> Potomac horse fever, equine – USA (05): (MD) alert
Fever -- United StatesMaryland horse owners are advised to be on high alert after a pony in Frederick county died from Potomac horse fever last month [July 2018]. The Maryland Department of Agriculture said the pony, which was originally from the University of Kentucky's Equine Diagnostic Laboratory, fell ill on 26 Jul 2018 and died 4 days later.
