Avian Influenza H5N1 -- EgyptA 4-year-old male resident of Menia Governorate, Egypt, had onset of illness on Thu 2 Feb 2017, was hospitalized on Fri 10 Feb [2017] and treated with antivirals for pneumonia. A sample collected on admission tested positive for influenza A(H5N1). The patient recovered and was discharged on Mon 20 Feb [2017].
