Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever -- Afghanistan- CCHF virus causes severe viral hemorrhagic fever outbreaks.- CCHF outbreaks have a case fatality rate of up to 40 percent.- The virus is primarily transmitted to people from ticks and livestock animals.
