E. coli -- United StatesOn 26 Jun 2017, a hospital in southern Utah notified the Utah Department of Health of Shiga toxin-producing _Escherichia coli_ (STEC) [also referred to as enterohemorrhagic _E. coli_ - EHEC - Mod.LL] O157:H7 infections in 2 children from a small community on the Arizona-Utah border.
