Hantavirus -- PanamaAuthorities from the Ministry of Health (MINSA) in Los Santos province maintain a state of alert with the progressive increase in hantavirus [infection] cases.Recently, 2 new cases from Tonosi and Las Tablas districts have detected said Carlos Muñoz, MINSA epidemiologist in the province.So far this year [2018] there is a total of 15 cases.Muñoz indicated that these most recent patients are progressing well and are under observation.--Communicated by:ProMED-mail from Read more [...]
