Lassa Fever -- BeninEVENT DESCRIPTIONOn [8 Jan 2018], a suspected case of viral haemorrhagic fever was reported from the Tanguiéta-Matéri-Cobly health zone of the Boukoumbé commune in Benin. The index case was a 35 year-old male residing in Nigeria but originally from Nadoba village in Togo, which borders Boukoumbé.He became ill on [15 Dec 2017] while in Nigeria and travelled to Nadoba to stay with relatives.
