Marburg Fever -- UgandaOn 17 Oct 2017, the Ugandan Ministry of Health (MoH) notified WHO of a confirmed outbreak of Marburg virus disease in Kween district, Eastern Uganda. The Ministry for Health officially declared the outbreak on 19 Oct 2017.As of [3 Nov 2017], the 3 cases that have been previously reported (2 confirmed and one probable case, the latter being the index case) have died, thus, resulting in an overall case-fatality rate of 100 percent.
