Fever -- South KoreaThe 1st case of a deadly tickborne virus in South Korea this year [2016] has been confirmed on Jeju Island. The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that a 61 year old man contracted the virus and suffered severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) on [Tue 12 Apr 2016].
