Algae -- United StatesThe Rhode Island Department of Health and the state Department of Environmental Management issued a warning [Wed 27 Sep2017] over blue-green algae found in 3 locations.The departments advised the public to avoid contact with 3 bodies of water in the state that can be harmful to health.The 3 locations are Pleasure Lake in Roger Williams Park in Providence, Stafford Pond in Tiverton, and the J.L.
