Whooping Cough — Worldwide/Unknown
As of 30 May 2014, 31 cases and 3 deaths of pertussis, disease known as whooping cough, had been confirmed in Sorocaba [Sao Paulo]. The incidence rate is currently at 4.93 per 100 000 inhabitants, and the mortality rate at 9.6 percent.
