The Florida Department of Health has reported 8 cases of _Vibrio vulnificus_ infection so far in 2015, including 2 fatalities. The deaths have been reported in Brevard and Marion counties, according to a health department update Thursday, 11 Jun 2015. The 8 cases have been reported from the following counties — Brevard (1), Broward (2), Duval (1), Marion (1), Pasco (1), Santa Rosa (1) and St. Lucie (1).
