Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever — Turkey
There is a high risk of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever [CCHF] in a number of Turkish provinces, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported on 10 Jul [2015]. Prophylactic work is being conducted to reduce the risk of infection in the provinces of Tokat, Sivas, Amasya, and Corum.
Earlier it was reported that 2 people died of this fever in the province of Adana on 9 Jun [2015].
