Rabies — Kyrgyzstan
A dog infected with rabies bit animals and 4 people in Uchar village, Osh region, the press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry reported. According to [the Press Service], the locals caught and killed the animal. The carcass of the dog was brought to a veterinary laboratory. The presence of the virus was confirmed [the next day].
All the injured people were vaccinated and hospitalized.
