[The ACIP is the key scientific body that reviews all vaccines and provides recommendations for the use of the vaccines. It routinely convenes 4 times per year but also when special needs arise such as the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. (). Interestingly, they have convened on a vaccine(s) that have not been FDA approved as yet.
