Pneumonia — Worldwide/Unknown
While I appreciate the moderator PMB’s comments on the problematic aspects of euthanasia as an approach to disease control and while I agree that culling certainly shouldn’t be considered a general approach to control of epizootic bighorn sheep pneumonia, it’s my understanding that the difficult decision to implement the culling strategy was made in direct response to specific circumstances unique to the Tieton epizootic.
