Anthrax — Worldwide/Unknown
3 persons died due to anthrax while 6 others were affected by the disease in Biriguda village under Laxmipur block of Koraput district in the last week.
The deceased are JK, SM, and RM [SM & RM have the same family name and may be related. – Mod.MHJ], As the disease [began affecting more people], the matter was reported to Laxmipur PHC and a medical team visited the village. The affected persons have been admitted to district headquarters hospital.
