At 10:58 p.m. on 25 Mar 2018, the emergency communications center in Charles County received a call for multiple Denny’s patrons exhibiting symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning after a gas leak occurred in the restaurant.
The building has been evacuated, and at least 5 people are being checked out by EMS crews for carbon monoxide poisoning. It is reported that the gas leak is coming from the grill area of the restaurant.
