Cryptosporidium — Sweden
The incidence of cryptosporidiosis in Scandinavia has increased dramatically in recent years. As shown in the graph [at the URL below], rates in Sweden per 100 000 population are approximately twice those reported in the United States — and almost 4-fold those reported in the European Region as a whole [1-3].

BIO: Richard T. Cartwright PE, CHMM, CPIM* is the Senior Vice President responsible for remediation technology marketing at MECx, LP.He has an MBA in Operations and Logistics Management from Indiana University, a BES in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, and recently completed a Professional Certificate Program in Project Management at the University of Buffalo.
