Diseases found in managed honeybee colonies have spread to wild bumblebee populations, a new study suggests.
The findings, published in the journal Nature, show that common honeybee diseases such as the deformed wing virus (DWV) and the [microsporidian] parasite _Nosema ceranae_ can be contracted by wild bumblebees and threaten their survival.
