Ohio Department of Agriculture state veterinarian Tony Forshey recently confirmed one case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) in a horse in Ashtabula County and is urging horse owners to contact their veterinarian to ensure their animals’ vaccine and boosters are up-to-date.
