Between weeks 1-19 2015, 104 Lassa fever cases with 6 lab-confirmed and 3 deaths (CFR, 3 per cent) from 16 LGAs (9 States) were reported compared with 544 cases with 61 lab-confirmed and 24 deaths (CFR, 4 per cent) from 25 LGAs (11 States) at the same period in 2014.
