Q Fever — Worldwide/Unknown
There is a high probability that the outbreak of ovine Q fever last August 2014 in Lachen-Speyerdorf, district of Neustadt [Rhineland-Palatinate state], has led to a case of infection in Canada. The Canadian health authorities are convinced that an elderly woman from Ontario became infected when having fresh cell therapy in the Vorderpfalz region.
