West Nile fever virus infection is transmitted by _Culex_ mosquitoes (a common mosquito). It is an arbovirus like dengue, Zika, and chikungunya [viruses].
According to the Ministry of Health, there is no available treatment for mild or moderate cases — the patient stays at rest and drinks liquids. For serious cases, attention in the intensive care unit is necessary.
