Diphtheria — Worldwide/Unknown
An outbreak of diphtheria, an upper respiratory tract illness, was reported in Alle and Konso woredas (SNNPR/Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples) on [25 Feb 2015]. As of [7 Mar 2015], there were 31 suspected cases and 6 deaths. The federal and regional health authorities, CDC, WHO and Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) responded to the outbreak.
