Poisoning — Worldwide/Unknown
Five members of the indigenous community Yucpa from the Kasmera sector of the Yaza River in the Sierra de Perija died yesterday afternoon from an alleged poisoning after drinking liquor and eating food.
Unofficially it was learned that the community chief, came down to the Machiques hospital with the adults who had symptoms of poisoning where they died within 2 hours of being admitted to the hospital. Another 15 members of the indigenous community, including several children, had symptoms
