To rebound from the impact of lethal yellowing disease [LY], the Antigua and Barbuda government has put plans in motion to import 100 000 coconut seeds from Costa Rica. The Plant Protection Unit [PPU] assures that they have been thoroughly vetted to prevent a recurrence of the devastation over the past years.
