Fires in 1988 and 1993 and a chlorine leak in 2005 at Alden Leeds shut highways and forced residents indoors, much as this weekend’s incident did.

BIO: Richard T. Cartwright PE, CHMM, CPIM* is the Senior Vice President responsible for remediation technology marketing at MECx, LP.He has an MBA in Operations and Logistics Management from Indiana University, a BES in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, and recently completed a Professional Certificate Program in Project Management at the University of Buffalo.
